Auburn Airport 09/22/10

Darlene and I drove over to the Auburn Airport this morning. It is right next to 5 miles from where I live. This is a huge private airport. I didn't count how many rows of hangers they had. I didn't get a picture of them because the street beside them was so busy and there was no place to pull over to take a picture.

Pretty Day 09/19/10

Sparkling sunshine and thunderstorm downpours made for a very pretty day here. So, we picked up Mom and headed for a few of her favorite places along Puget Sound. The drama in the sky, along with mild temperatures made for some fun sightseeing.

Cheryl, a friend (Linda) here in the building I live in, and I went to a dance recital on Friday at the Kent Senior Center. It was a "Dance & Desert Fundraiser" for the Center. Performing were dancers Erik & Ricky. They were semifinalists from 2009 "America's Got Talent".

Power Trip 09/15/10

On my birthday weekend we decided to take a mini-vacation to the eastern side of Washington. I have been wanting to see the Grand Coulee Dam for quite some time and we just hadn't made it over there yet. This ended up being one of my favorite short vacations.
