More Snow 03/30/08
By John Schmit
I guess I won't be cutting the grass this weekend. A late March snow dropped about 1/2 an inch last night. The roads have stayed clean for the most part. The trees and flowers look so sad under the snow and ice. It's supposed to warm up and be sunny over the next few days.

Banquet 03/29/08
By Barbara Lawrence
Our Chamber had our banquet tonight and I am one of the Ambassadors which I've been since I moved here. Tonight I was given the 2007 Ambassador of the Year Award which I also got for 2003. I "work" (volunteer) more at the Chamber than any of the other Ambassadors but I do it because I like it.

It Snowed! 03/28/08
By Cheryl Schmit
Wednesday night we got snow. Thursday when I left for work it had partly melted. Here's a pic from my phone camera of the grass in front of the house. Today we watched it snow at work, but it didn't stick.

Thought you would all enjoy the new pictures of Alexxis. On Easter she got an Easter basket from Granny and Papa that had plastic eggs filled with things so she could shake them.

Lexi's Swing 03/22/08
By Barbara Lawrence
I bought Lexi a new swing last week for the tree outside so today was the first time she was in it. It will be so much better when the tree gets leafed out which it's in the process of doing now. Daryl came out long enough to hook it to the limb, pushed Lexi and then she drug in her breath and laughed out loud - she loved the swing and laughed each time we pushed her. She was also in her walker outside but didn't like her feet in the grass - her expressions were sooooooo cute. Lexi was 9 months old this past Thursday. Lexi came home from CA with her one bottom tooth all the way through and it's so tiny and cute.

Airplanes 03/03/08
By Susie Devries
This weekend we were able to be up close and personal with some vintage air craft. On display at the North Little Rock Airport were a B-17, B-24 and a B-25. You could ride in one of them for 425.00 a person. That was a bit too expensive for our budget so we just walked around them and looked. Bill took pictures. It was a small show, but so very close we couldn't help but go, the airport is about 2 miles away.
