Welcome William 10/30/08
By John Schmit
I'd like to welcome William Foster as a contributor to our growing Picture pages. William recently went to an air show and took lots of great pictures he made into two musical slide shows. The children in the air show pictures are Jasmine and Casey (a friends son) and then Jasmine & Casey's sister, Caitlin. William also made a wonderful tribute to our military. Enjoy William's videos by checking out his listing at the bottom of our Picture page.

Today was opening day for ducks and pheasants for our state. My 30 year hunting partner from Denver, Rick Goodman, rode to Kearney yesterday with Candy and I on Candy's trip home from working a week. Rick and I were out of bed at 4am and down to the backwaters of the lake for ducks.

Ian 10/13/08
By Erin Lawrence
My most favorite picture! I will be sending out Ally's school picture and already sent out Braden's, but this little boy looks like me- the only out of the three- and this picture embodies all of his innocence, intelligence, and solace. I love most all of my kids' pictures, but this one just strikes me. Just thought I'd share.

Garden and Beer Keg 10/10/08
By Cliff Chamberlin
Mom and I went up to the garden after lunch and picked a bunch. One row (last row) of Yukon gold spuds filled a 5 gallon bucket. Still have 3 - 20ft rows of Kennibuck spuds (white bakers) to dig in early Nov. Picked a chuck full plastic grocery sack, to the brim, of beets.

Autumn 10/08/08
By Susie Devries
Autumn was so funny yesterday. She has become fascinated with flies. They are coming in as usual, they do every year. Some are in a semi dead state and easily caught. Autumn loves this. She catches one, it crawls on her arm. She says Look Gramma, it's walking on me, can I pet it? I said sure but be gentle. She said "OK, I will be gentle----OOPS, one of it's legs fell off, I will stuck it back on!" I laughed till my sides hurt.

Visiting Jack 10/02/08
By Barbara Lawrence
I arrived at Jack's apartment before noon on his birthday (10/01/08) and got home tonight at 5:45. Jack has a new twin hide-a-bed so I stayed all nite and it wasn't too bad. I was getting Jack's bills in order so he could either pay them on-line or they would be auto-pay.
