We just got back from another great time at the Pacific Science Center. The special this weekend was Polar Science. They had special speakers, scientists and representatives from Nasa, the University of Washington, NOAA, and the Zoo. It was a beautiful spring day with the daffadills in bloom.

Spring Weekend 02/22/10

Winter seems to be officially over here in the Pacific Northwest. The warm sunshine is pulling everyone outside to play. We were seduced also. On Monday, February 15th, we took some time to go to the Pacific Science Center. They had a new Mars exhibit we wanted to see. After we got home we played in the yard.

Concert 02/20/10

I went "high brow" tonight. One of my friends (Libby) invited me to go with two other women (besides Libby & me) tonight to Chamber Music at our local Mount Vernon Music Hall - they had an extra ticket that was paid for so they invited me.

Vegas Visit 02/15/10

The first weekend in February things came together for me to visit with Mom in Las Vegas. A spur of the moment decision on Friday caused me to check the next Tuesday for day off availability. Sure enough it was, so I put my name in for it.

It had quit snowing about dark time but it is snowing again now as you can see in these pictures. I turned the front light on and took these pictures just a few minutes ago so you can see how much snow we have tonight.

You're on fire, GET OUT OF THE PLANE 02/10/10

Took the company owner and Account sales reps to DFW Monday morning. After I landed it seemed like it was "hard to taxi", and felt like the right main tire was rather flat, so taxied to the General Aviation ramp as usual. As we pulled in, the guy comes running out and says, "you're on fire, GET OUT OF THE PLANE".

Snow 02/08/10

We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning. Northern AR was supposed to get snow, we were supposed to get rain. It's so pretty outside. I was lucky enough to have Autumn today and we have been out to play in the snow, go for a walk, look at my neighbor's daffodils that are ready to bloom and then come in for a cup of cocoa and a treat!!
