She looked so comfy on the floor!! .

Sage 08/22/08
By Barbara Lawrence
When I lived in Oxnard CA I had a HUGE plant that was called Mexican Sage that spread out about 4-5 feet. I tried to get the same plant down here but they never heard of it so I bought a TX Sage plant. The Mexican Sage had tall purple spears coming out of the whole plant but this TX Sage is a lot different - see picture. With all the rain we've had this year, this plant just keeps flowering.

If you want excitement, live around Barbara Lawrence. When I got home from church this afternoon, Bella wouldn't come out from behind the north glider chair in my "front room". I looked back there and could see something strange so I went to get my grabber/reacher, pulled the chair out and a baby snake went under my bookcase.

It's 64 now and foggy, heading for 77 today and a nice South breeze. It got to 71 yesterday and I never closed up. That was a real treat, open windows and boiling corn all afternoon. There is a lot of fog, but not tight to the ground, so you can see where your driving.
